Cover Gush!

So many incredible covers have been released recently, and I don't have the time to talk about each one individually. Here are the kickass covers:

My favorites: Breathe, Grasping at Eternity, Time Between Us and The Lost Girl.
Books I'm super siked: Rift and The Darkest Minds -- I love Andrea Cremer and Alexandra Bracken so frackin' much. I was delighted to see covers and titles for both of their new books.

Speaking of titles...

There has also been a bunch of new title reveals lately, too!

Personally, the one I'm most excited for is for Caster Chronicles #4 by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl, which is...... BEAUTIFUL REDEMPTION. I love love love love love it.
Then, a much anticipated sequel by Michelle Hodkin has a title. Presenting, Mara Dyer number 2: THE EVOLUTION OF MARA DYER.

The title for the 7th and final book in the Soul Screamers series by Rachel Vincent was released: WITH ALL MY SOUL.

So what do you all think of the covers? Which ones are your favorites? And those titles!? What do you think of them? Are you waiting to read them!? Tell me your thoughts!

Cover Gush!

Clicking on the titles will lead you to the book's Goodreads page :)

Gravity by Melissa West
Expected publication: October 2012
Entangled Publishing

I absolutely, 100% adore this cover. I think that the blue is a stunning color and it's so refreshing to see a cover without a gorgeous model on it. This is simple and clear and just beautiful!

Expected publication: October 2, 2012
Simon Pulse

I'm not sure what I think of this cover. At first I thought it was a little fairy laying on a leaf, but then I realized it...wasn't. I'm still not sure, though. When I see it, I see a girl that got dumped and is having trouble coping. I know that's not what the book is about, but that's just what it feels like to me.

Expected publication: September 11, 2012
HarperTEEN

I'm not sure how I feel about this cover, either. The first two in the series had a more elegant feel to them and this seems a little more fierce to me. And kind of bland. I feel like anybody could have photoshopped this.

Expected publication: 2013
Orchard Books

For some reason, I love this cover! It seems mysterious. But I don't like that we can't see the girl's face. I'm not sure what's really going on up there. Is her hair covering it? It kind of looks to me like her head is on backwards, but I highly doubt that. Besides that, though, I love the eerie color scheme and the simple swish of the "K" in the title.

Expected publication: September 4, 2012
Simon & Schuster Books For Young Readers

I LOVE THIS. It looks so epic. Nuff said.

Expected Publication: May 8, 2012
Little, Brown Books for Young Readers

I like this cover. I love the bright color scheme and the girl's eye is gorgeous. I feel like she is looking at me. It's great.

Cover Gush!

Battle Scars is a book by Cesya Marae Cuono. Apparently, it is an Elemental novel. I have no idea what the book is about or what number it is in the series, but that cover is mucho fabulosa!! I'm not even sure why I love it so much, because I'm not really a pink and purple kind of girl, but it is sooo gorgeous.

For Darkness Shows the Stars is a novel by Diana Peterfreund. Once again, I have no idea what it is about, but I looove the cover! I just want to stare at it. Is that strange?

Embrace is a novel by Jessica Shirvington. I actually do know a little bit abou this one, and I'm pretty sure it's a debut. This is definitely a book I wanted to read before I saw the cover, now I'm just dying for it!! The mysterious tagline and the way her wings are smoke and the letters are turning into smoke....AH.

The Immortal Rules is the first novel in Julie Kagawa's new vampire series. If you don't know, Julie Kagawa wrote the Iron Fey series, which is mighty popular. I haven't read the series, but everybody I know loves it! Anyway, this cover is creepy and gorgeous. I like it a lot better than the Iron Fey covers. Something like this could easily look poorly edited, but it doesn't! It looks so dark and gorgeous!! I REALLY want to read this.

Cover Gush

Endlessly by Kiersten White

OH MY GOSH!!!! How gorgeous is this cover!?!?!?! I love it sooo muchhhhh!

Endlessly is the third and last book in the Paranormalcy trilogy by Kiersten White. The first two books were adorable and I really enjoyed them. I am seriously looking forward to this new addition, and I love the cover much more than the other two. I am sooo excited!

Timepiece by Myra McEntire

Another awesome cover! I think I like this better than the first one, but it's really close.

Timepiece is the second book in the Hourglass series by Myra McEntire. I only read half of the first book, and then my dad accidentally took it back to the library. I'm really upset because I was absolutely loving it. Myra's writing is STUNNING. I need to finish the first book and then wait anxiously for this new book with the beautiful cover!

Girl of Nightmares by Kendare Blake

This cover screams, "CREEEPY!" I love it! I'm pretty sure I like Anna's cover more, though.

Girl of Nightmares is the sequel to Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake. I haven't read it yet, but it has been sitting on my TBR pile for MONTHS!

Dreamless by Josephine Angelini

Hello beautiful!!! JAW HAS DROPPED. I love this cover! So much. However, I love Starcrossed's cover more, and that's saying something. The cover of Starcrossed drew me in the second I saw it and I love it beyond compare. This cover is still absolutely gorgeous, though.

Dreamless is the sequel to Starcrossed by Josephine Angeleni. I havenn't read it yet, but I have been in love with the cover forever. I have no idea what it is about, but it is on my wishlist!

What do you think of these covers? They are all marvelous, in my opinion! But I want to hear your thoughts!

Trailer Time + Cover Gush

TRAILER TIME
(Unfortunately, I don't have a banner for this yet.)

You've probably heard of the book Matched by Ally Condie. If you haven't then I'm pretty sure this is your first time ever seeing a book blog. Ever. However, I get the feeling most of you have heard of it and read it.

I honestly wasn't that big a fan of it. Here's my review! (But be warned, it was one of the first books I ever reviewed.) The ending, though, left me wanting more and desperately waiting to find out what happens next.

The sequel, Crossed, is going to be released on November 1, 2011. And when I saw this book trailer, I died. It is SO beautiful, and it definitely makes me want the sequel more!

Unfortunately, I could only get you a link. But take the time to click on it, I swear it is worth it!

Meet the cover of Girl of Nightmares by Kendare Blake. This is the sequel to Anna Dressed in Blood. A book that I have not read, but have been wanting to read FOREVER and have heard awesome things about.

I love this cover so much. I'm pretty sure I liked ADiB better, but I still love this one. Does it not look...epic!?

What do you think? Are you excited for Crossed? Are you team Xander or Ky?

And what about Girl of Nightmares cover. Do you like it more or less than the first one?

Cover Gush: Hemlock

HEMLOCK by Kathleen Peacock
Mackenzie and Amy were best friends. Until Amy was brutally murdered.

Since then, Mac’s life has been turned upside down. She is being haunted by Amy in her dreams, and an extremist group called the Trackers has come to Mac’s hometown of Hemlock to hunt down Amy’s killer: A white werewolf.

Lupine syndrome—also known as the werewolf virus—is on the rise across the country. Many of the infected try to hide their symptoms, but bloodlust is not easy to control.

Wanting desperately to put an end to her nightmares, Mac decides to investigate Amy’s murder herself. She discovers secrets lurking in the shadows of Hemlock, secrets about Amy’s boyfriend, Jason, her good pal Kyle, and especially her late best friend. Mac is thrown into a maelstrom of violence and betrayal that puts her life at risk.

Kathleen Peacock’s thrilling novel is the first in the Hemlock trilogy, a spellbinding urban fantasy series filled with provocative questions about prejudice, trust, lies, and love.

OMG. Does this not look and sound fabulous!? Definitely newly on my TBR list. I think the cover is elegant and gorgeous! I want this book riht now. Too bad it is released in 2012 :(

What do you guys think?

Cover Gush!

So...I saw a new cover today and I thought it was awfully purdddddy.

Perception by Kim Harrington.

This is the sequel to Clarity. I haven't actually read Clarity, though I desperately want to. But I think this cover is fantastic. I love the sun burst and the colorful trees :D I think this is waay better than Clarity's cover.

What do you think? Do you like it more than Clarity? Less? I like opinions!

Cover Gush!

So, many of you have probably seen this, and I am just going about my day like, LALALALALALA, totally out of the loop.

But today, I saw for the first time the cover of INSURGENT by Veronica Roth.

It is SOOOO beautiful! I wasn't that big of a fan of DIVERGENT's cover, but this.....

I LOVE IT!

What do you guys think? Better than the first one? Worse? I want to hear your opinion...because I think it is gorgeous!

.....I used a lot of exclamation points in this post.
