Booking Through Thursday

Booking Through Thursday is a weekly meme you can find HERE.

This weeks question:
You’ve just had a long, hard, exhausting day, and all you want to do is curl up with something light, fun, easy, fluffy, distracting, and entertaining.
What book do you pick up?

MY ANSWER:

Agh. That's a hard one, because there are so many!

I guess I'd say something from James Patterson's YA collection, like the Maximum Ride books or the Witch and Wizard books. They may not be the best books in the world, but the narration is witty and fun, the action definitely distracts me, and they are all really quick to read.

Another selection would be something from Kelley Armstrong's YA collection. All of her characters are fun and cute and her plots are super original.

Booking Through Thursday

Booking Through Thursday is a weekly meme you can find HERE.

This weeks question:

What’s the last book you were really EXCITED to read?
And, were you excited about it in advance? Or did the excitement bloom while you were reading it?
Are there any books you’re excited about right NOW?

MY ANSWER:

The last book that I was really excited to read was Wolfsbane by Andrea Cremer. I'd been excited about that book for about a year when I finished Nightshade. I was also excited to read Demonglass by Rachel Hawkins, and We'll Always Have Summer by Jenny Han, both of which I was excited to read beforehand.

There are a ton of books that I'm excited to read right now. Divergent by Veronica Roth, I think is the book in my possession that I'm most excited to read.

This weeks question:
What’s the latest you’ve ever stayed up reading a book? Is staying up late reading a usual thing for you?

MY ANSWER:

Wow, that's a funny question. For me, at least. Because often when I'm absorbed in a really good book I don't stop reading it until I'm finished. With that being said, there were times when I just stayed up all night reading and didn't bother with sleep. In fact, that occurs fairly often. I've already done it twice this week. But I've also developed a case of insomnia so that has a lot to do with it, I suppose.
