I review every book I read, therefore not all of my reviews are kind. I include every single thing I felt about the book as long as it is possible to put into words. My reviews are one hundred percent honest opinion, and not everything I feel and think will be positive. If I do give a negative review, I do my best not to completely bash a book. Even if I do not like a book I try to give at least one aspect that I enjoyed.
Also in my reviews I include a picture of the cover; the summary from goodreads; a link to the goodreads profile; links to purchase it on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Indiebound, and Book Depository; and a "paw print" rating (see rating system tab for more information).
If applicable I also include the official book trailer. Also, sometimes I include a "recommendations" section where I list books that remind me of the book I am reviewing. These books are based on different things: plot, narration, character behavior, etc... If a book does not receive recommendations, it is not a bad thing. The point of my recommendations is to show what sort of audience the book will appeal to. Sometimes, though, books are very unique and don't remind me of any other book I've ever read.
What I Review
- Mostly, I only accept YA. Sometimes, I will accept MG or Adult, but that is very rare.
- Historical fiction (occasionally I will get one off of NetGalley, but I'd prefer you didn't request it)
Unfortunately, at the moment the only ebooks I will accept are from publishers and blog tours. I hate to do this, because there are so many WONDERFUL books that are only available in electronic form, but I don't have an ereader and reading on my computer screen is time-consuming and burdensome. I really hope you understand! I also do not accept audio books. Other than that, I accept both ARCs and finished copies.
Indie And Self-Published Authors
I do accept books from independently-published authors and self-published titles. I do not accept eBooks, and I am awfully picky about which ones I choose to read. Also, I read and review books from the "big publishers" first. I love indie authors, though! I've read some really great work and have got to meet some really indie authors.
Interviews, Guest Posts, Giveaways, Etc...
I am available for these special posts. Whether you are an indie author or a traditionally published author. I prefer to have read your book(s) first, because I don't like to suggest my readers buy something that I don't know whether I enjoy or not.
I am available for blog tours as well. I accept ebooks and physical books and I am open to all the different kinds of posts, like the things mentioned above. I like to have a lot of time in advance to read and review (or whatever else) and post on my assigned date.
If you would like me to review a book, participate in a blog tour, or anything else you can think of, email me at:
