Top Ten Tuesday: Must Buys Still On The Shelf

I don't know why I haven't read this yet. I love this series and I was SO EAGER to buy it.

Andrea Cremer is so fantastic and I was so excited when I found at she was making a prequel to her popular Nightshade series. I bought both of these books right when they came out, and I am yet to crack open either one.

I remember pretty much crying every time someone got an ARC of this...

Anything that has Jenny Han's name attached to it has to be awesome. I wanted this book so bad for so frackin long.

Even now, I look at this shelf and want to read it. I don't know what is stopping me.

GAYLE FORMAN OMG OMG OMG I started reading this, but set it down when other books came out like it isn't important but it is important so so importsant

I saw a video or something that made me immediately go order this book and then I never touched it.

I actually won this but I remember dying around the time of the blog tour and yet I have not even take it off my shelf once.

I actually bought two copies of this a while ago. One for giveaway (which I STILL haven't sent. I am so so so so sorry. I will do that sometime this week!) and one for me because its summary was pretty much the love of my life.

  1. I've heard great things about tons of these. I did actually read Just One Day but wasn't blown away as I was with Gayle's previous books, but it was still a good one. :) Thanks for sharing and stopping by!

  5. I still need to read Just One Day too haha. I got a copy on release day and now it's just sitting there, staring at me! I enjoyed City of Lost Souls a lot more than City of Fallen Angels, and I think it's a really great book, although I'll probably need to re-read the series before the final book comes out anyway.

  8. I have The Darkest Minds and Just One Day but I haven't had them for very long so I didn't include them in my list - my TBR mountain is so ridiculous that a book has to be hanging around for at least 2 years before it starts looking forlorn! ;)

I keep wanting to ask people about the books on their lists, only to remember "oh wait, the whole point is they haven't read them yet!" A few of these titles I'm really curious about though.

  10. I didn't buy it, but I did pick up Just One Day from my public library. It sat on my night stand for about 4 weeks before I realized I needed to return it and pay the fines! I still want to read it though :)

  13. Oh, I'm right there with you on City of Lost Souls. I bought that one on its release day, but then... I don't know, kind of lost my interest at some point. I wasn't a huge fan of CoFA, but I do still absolutely want to see the series through so I plan to read CoLS right before CoHF comes out. I haven't read any of the books on your list so I can't tell you which ones you should absolutely read soon, but I do know that I am dying to read Just One Day, as well. Thanks for taking the time to stop by my blog earlier!

  14. City of Lost Souls, is that the last book in the series? If so I'm like you, I loved the series, but never got around to reading that one. I think it was my way of being rebellious because it was really meant to be a trilogy and then she added 2 books!

  16. I still have City of Lost Souls on the shelf, too, but I think I've been avoiding it since I wasn't a fan of City of Fallen Angels. One day I will read it! And Just One Day! Such a gorgeous cover ... I think I will need a day to just melt into it. :)

    Great list!

  18. You should definitely read A Midsummer's Nightmare!!! That's actually the only one I've read, but I don't own the others so I guess I'm in the clear ;) Great list, hope you can get to them soon.
